They are also spreading rumours that KGL will be using cyanide in their plant. That is totally false. Cyanide is not needed in this plant.
My information is that the Govt (20% owner of the project) will not be swayed by forces loyal to the previous corrupt regime.
A petition was signed by 1500 out of 1800 residents in the Talas region SUPPORTING the Andash mine. They also want the local council members (loyal to the wealthy landowners...wonder why? lol) kicked out of office.
