probability of a takeover?

    So are the wheels about to fall off? OR will the current equity raising plug the whole?

    Management and the market have driven the share price into the ground, so I’m wondering what is now the real probability of a takeover post the rights issue? I’m sure there is an corporate action possibility given all the new shares and tradable rights swirling around!

    Previously there has been a bit of chat in this forum regarding possible candidates, namely;

    Zimplats OR parent Impala Platinum,
    Aquarius Platinum,
    and Xstrata?

    Post the recapitalization I calculate the current market cap at $57.5m (at 12cents). But surely a conservative break-up value is at least 4x that?

    Does anyone who has been following this story and the Platinum Market and have a better handle on any of this?

    Is it now a matter of when, not if?

    Cheers

    Gus
