Hi Trim. Although I understand what you mean I don't think you should underestimate the importance of the current drilling programme.
For example: using FAR's 2C 640 mmbbls a STOIIP of 2.7 billion barrels = recovery factor of ~ 24%. If we can get it to 40% the 2C number goes to 1.08 billion barrels so the best part of 400 mmbbls for the cost of 2 wells. So based on the RF alone if you say atm FAR's barrels are worth $3.40 AU..... you end up with FAR having around 162 mmbbls 2C @ $3.40 AU = $550 million or 12 cps in 6 moths time max. $3.40 is around $2.55 bbl US about half what I think our barrels are worth given how good the economics are { please read CNE 1/2 yearly transcript and preso } so at $5 US we are at $6.66 bbl AU or a touch over 1 billion or 24 cps. None of the above takes into account of any increase in 2 C from the thinner sands which in its self could be substantial because those thin sands are spread out over a vast area. AIMO DB
