Massey Ferguson your knowledge surprises me. Check out further bear funds Bear and BBOZ. On the NYSE HDGE is a good bet especially if the AUD tanks which I'm sure it will.Timing with options is often futile. I like a short term punt here and there. But longer term your completely right.
A 20 percent drop and most Aussie banks are cooked. Like Iceland offshore funding interest rates skyrocket overnight. Then again why would any Australian be surprised? The same happened in 1893.
History doesn't repeat itself but it does rhyme....
