We've had these calls quite a few times. We put them on loudspeak and play along for the children to hear.
Last one said there was a problem with my children's computer. (they don't have their own computer) You must do as I say she said... your children are suffering, their computer has a problem. My how we laughed at that one. I played along and eventually she said 'now read out to me what it says in the box' (I think this is where they get you to ping and then read out your ip address. I said OMGoodness it says
"THIS IS A SCAM"
'why do you play with me like that?' she said, 'you must stop being so negative minded, especially while your children are suffering'.......
Unbelievable.
