have a read of Andrew Bolts blogs today.... current immigration system is too high...we dont have enough water, houses, infrastructure to handle out current problems....overcrowding, public transport etc...
let alone allow Tamil Tigers into the country.... I am wondering why the UN is silent on the debate.... those 78 boat people were given refugee status 5 years ago in Indonesia.....so they dont like Indonesia....well tuff... oh and why de we bother having any security at our airports to stop people coming in unlawfully....when all they have to do now ...is get on a boat.... once in Austrlian territory, then wreck the boat, cry refugee....and they are not only allowed in....we entice them with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of freebies....
I can see people changing their minds about coming in by air, no freebies that way...come by boat instead...
oh and then bring the whole family, and the extended family
