Get over yourself, or better still go take 1.01 economics, your pet fantasies have little to do with investing here, everyone understands BEV is a key growth segment NdFeB but one China is determined to dominate, and very much appears to have advanced their agenda post CV.

Equally clearly they are now exercising their standard game plan of building out MASSIVE overcapacity high grade NdFeB, just one company JL Mag recently announced they are doubling production to 23ktpa 2023, then doubling again to 40ktpa 2025.

By contrast Japan’s output of NdFeB permanent magnets decreased 8% to 12,400 mt in 2020:

While China talks magnetic blank production Japan talks net shape mags (20% swarf) & the Japanese number probably doesn't incl Shin Etsu Vietnam production even you should be able to understand how easily China can swamp Japan, or anyone else for that matter, in just a handful of years, particularly given their cost of inputs advantage, rapid development of automation, not to mention their trade manipulation two speed treatment VAT NdPr vs NdFeB.

Quite frankly you look increasingly stupid, vapidly banging away at your BEV drum and cheering on your Chinese hero's without a clue underlying economic issues.
