That's probably true, but it hasn't stopped Huayou and CNGR Advanced Materials to buy the matte from tsingshan. I look at it as, if it's going to cause that much of a problem with the EV industry, why are battery makers buying it?
And at the end of the day nic are in the position to switch over back to npi if the market for this matte conversion does not go well. Can't say many other nickel stocks are in that unique position to capitalise on both markets.
Im keen to see how this will play out.
