The articles regarding high energy consumption are referencing the HPAL processes. This is a new process. From the limited information I gather it would use the same energy as required for NPI process which has great efficiency by preheating ore with kiln output. I don’t understand why a holder would try and talk NIC down by perpetuating these high energy stories without any supporting information. Nickel matte is a game changer. It will make EV’s affordable for everyone. I can’t wait until China release a 1000km range EV for 50k.
