Another concern I need to investigate before investing in CFU is product lifetime. Being a leading edge / innovating product in an emerging industry, is there much knowledge and experience around product lifetimes? E.g. when solar hot water heaters first came out they were apparently not as long lasting as claimed, until knowledge and experience built up over time to the well tested and solid products we have today. Could this be a risk to CFU and something to factor in to the risk rating? I.e sell 10,000 units and be hit with returns and warranty costs or brand damage from short lifetime.
