Most of the blame lies with management, with the only bad luck (albeit very small) with the recent US Hurricanes.
Management raised holder expectations 12-18months ago, way above where they should have been.
They have since way under delivered, whilst also trying to bite off far more than they can chew.
The US market is the only thing holding this company back but they continue to focus on expanding to new markets and believing that the US will just get moving eventually. Which I think is wrong.
Moving back to Australia was low hanging fruit and management shouldn't have praise heaped on them for any Australian market success as they are mainly benefitting from the original Yowie's success.
This product is a no-brainer for success IMO (maybe bias by past success by Cadbury) and if they focused efforts solely on the US and getting that going strong none of us would be here typing complaint after complaint.
