I don't think it's the problem some believe . Using my own experiences and others most people don't want or have trades on speed dial , i think this the strength of Airtasker . Unless you have a lot of higher value work too most trades are not interested either, the average person wanting jobs here and there trades are not interested in dropping everything and coming around to fit 3 more lights for you.I would prefer to just airtasker again than being stuffed around with trades privately. I used an electrician through Airtasker and yes got his contacts but 6 months later when i needed one again it was not relevent anymore so i used another off airtasker. No issues. That is the way most people use airtasker i believe, the revenue of ART suggests that too.They vet and find the workers for you which is 90% of your time .They also give you a ballpark and comparisons of what a job is actually worth , another huge plus you don't get dealing with a single tradie one on one. I think there is some good value down here at these prices so i'm watching for an entry. I think international expansion of the branding is a very real possibility and would see ART fly off here. Just my 2.2c.
