I complete tasks on AT and agree the fees, especially to the poster, are too much. I cut a guys hedges, my end payment was $135 (task price 165), the poster ended up paying over $190.
AT's main selling point though is not just to connect workers with jobs, they provide escrow, which gives security to both sides that hiPages or OneFlare can't offer. Some people are intimidated to book trades or don't know how much they should pay, AT is a nice buffer.
