Yep I have experienced that also on Airtasker. That said most people are honest and want to build a reputation through the platform. Also for the customer and the Tasker there is the added security of insurance and payments. Further once you have used a Tasker their details now come up on contacts and ART only charge 1.9% for future work booked through the system with that person and you get the benefits of payments and insurance.
