MUMBAI --Indian drug maker Lupin has acquired the worldwide rights for Australia's Goanna brand and the therapeutic oils, rubs and ointments marketed under it.
The company said it acquired the brand, which mainly has products treating muscular aches and pains, via its Australian unit Generic Health Pty. Ltd.
Lupin didn't disclose financial details of the deal.
In 2003, the Goanna brand was sold to Sigma Pharmaceuticals.
