So if BHP and Rio are forced to comply with the State Agreement Act, where does that leave UMC?
In the box seat, like it was and always will be!!!
All we need now is forward thinking from one of the majors, which is to approach UMC with a proposition of a MOU.
For my mind, signing a MOU with UMC for gate sales is a far better option for Rio/BHP than to allow UMC a legal right to share their rail network.
That's the beauty of having the good stuff and where the real difference lies from one junior to the other.
Excellent grades means better leverage which can be measured in the difference between chances of success and that of failure.
