This wasn't some greenfields operation, it was operating in a perfectly acceptable manner before Apex bought it. They've had it running for almost a year and even taking into account the increase in the gold price, one can only conclude that they've made it worse.

And with complicated and unique mines like this, it can take five years to rectify "staffing difficulties".
