The LAMP works which is good news.
As reported the kilns were the bottleneck and they're sorted.
The SX mostly sorted but 'reliability ... still improving'.
Now they state that the first production out of Ph2 will be NEXT quarter and that Ph2 SX "requires significant REO feed which has required several weeks to load and stabilise". That stuff came from phase1 "reducing production of ready to sell product".
On that basis what amount of REO was lost to the production numbers? Roughly of course.
We know material takes 40 days to be "digested" by the LAMP and I'd expect 20+ days of that to be the SX.
So a plausible figure would be that about 3 weeks production (of 12 in a quarter) needs to be loaded into Ph2...
Then adjusting production output on that basis we'd get about 2177 x 12/9 = 2902 t for the quarter or about design capacity.
It does appear that Ph2 is unlikely to be up to full production in the current market, unfortunately.
Probably limits the COP savings for now.
