For BNL tragics like me, a one hour hearing because Trent hasn’t done one for a few years now… a few bits of useful information that give some confidence around details for the production plant and GalPeg development
I did a bit of sleuthing to find the video recording of the hearing for the Pinon Canyon production plant approval. Evidently Trent was in the room, but again he managed to avoid the cameras. None the less, COO Peter Kondrat gave testimony for BNL (nods to Trent at one point), and there are some great bits of information, as well as some really positive testimony from other officials and neighbours.
Most of the discussion focussed upon who is going to pay for road maintenance up to the state highway (14 miles), even though it is already used by Desert Eagle (Red Rocks I think) but most interestingly…
Kondrat mentions the expected lifespan of Galactica Pegasus at 15-25 years, with more wells to come
Truck movements (65 - 70 000 pound trailers) after production commences estimated at about “170 CO2 truck products and 30 helium products permonth that's if the plant is at maximum production potential it's going to take some time to ramp up to that production so lIl be lesser numbered than that to begin with”
The production plant can be built in 28 days once approval is given.
Neighbours had nothing but good things to say about Trent, and BNL, their communication and consideration of their needs.
