Fair point, it's not the Nido Management directly who are on the drill floor directing operations. They will have appointed a Well Engineering Consultant who in a much larger company such as WEL would be the Drilling Manager.

My point is that (without knowing the full ins and outs) of the operation I would have expected:

1. Operations to have progressed much faster than they did. All of these posters who say 2 weeks delay = no big deal clearly aren't aware of the dayrates involved in offshore operations.

2. A fundamental issue such as reservoir isolation to have been performed correctly.

I don't feel that whoever is managing Well Engineering is doing a very good job. I'm sure Nido are paying them a handsome dayrate.
