Why do they always use this term in the oil industry.
In accordance with pre drilling plans, the well will be plugged and abandoned at the conclusion of
production testing.
Makes it sound like its a duster even though its not, surely they could come up with something other than "plugged and abandoned".
Sounds like its not loved anymore.
Could they not use some wine terms like corked to mature, beautiful bouquet etc. Sounds much nicer :)
