Interesting commentary from all on the MEO thread today, very healthy! I am trying to stay balanced on the TH announcement given past history. However, I do agree that if the analysis since Report 6 were negative a P&A would have been announced now by all parties, not let's take 2 days to work out a nice way to tell the long term and suffering MEO holders that we have another Duster. That's not the way these guys roll and certainly not at the cost of maintaining a rig at Blackwood for a further 2 days! So why announce a timeframe for a Production Test decision? My gut feel is that there has been significant change to pre drill expectations and that the time is now required for ENI/ MEO to determine the overall implications of the changes and to map out an appropriate strategy for Production Test. Time will tell, just my take on things! KK
