Bilo, 105 is'nt 10 years from production. Generally an offshore discovery can be in production in around three years which allows permitting and platform construction. The Neon JV is spoilt for choice regarding options for the gas.

What they will go with I have no idea at this stage but the easiest option would be to tie in to Dongfang less than 25kms away in a similar fashion to what ROC have done in the Beibu Gulf.

Recall that Neon sought a partner that had the expertise and ability to monetarise any discovery be it oil or gas. Eni fitted that bill.

Assuming all goes well in the next month you can expect the jv will plan to be in production asap. I would be expecting production in 2017, earlier will be a bonus.
