As far as the share price goes I think Management is an easy target. EQX is a victim of the fact that over 80% of stock is held by the top 20 and I dare say over 90% by the top 50. The remaining free float is minimal. This makes it tough to get into when times are good and tough to get out of when times are not so good.

Liquidity is an issue and the buy/sell spread can get as high as 10c, meaning a purchase of just 1 share can move the price 5% or more.

Liquidity works both ways. A slippery slope on the downside and a rocket on the upside.

With 60c per share in cash and 2 quality assets the current Enterprise Value of around $80m looks way to low, however it is the scoping study that will show this. A JORC means nothing.

The big boys such as M & G and Blackrock are already sitting on large holdings and are there for the bigger picture. The day to day share price movements bothers them far less than us retail investors.

I believe in the resource and I believe in the projects, and I think the scoping study will clearly reflect why we have been holding this stock for so long.
