The weather has been atrocious. I for one would not want to be anywhere near the sea and that far from shore.

My understanding is that it is only the future price of oil that has been coming down - the September contract. We haven't got there yet and it could change for Tui before we do. The current period has all been at the grossly inflated price.

The link that some market participants draw between the oil futures price and an oil explorer's share price is tenuous at best - but because enough participants are doing this it provides a buying opportunity for others.

I am not expecting much on financials in the quarterly report - it will again be left for analysts to make of it what they will......it is likely we will be kept on ice until the 29th of October.....NZO doesn't need any money for now....despite being the worst performer on the NZX for the last week or two...
