There's a fantastic analysis done by Deutsche Bank, and it's by far the most comprehensive report yet done on lithium.  It's 180 pages long and leaves no stone unturned.  I don't have a direct link (I have the PDF file saved on my hard drive), but I know it's called Welcome To The Lithium Ion Age - Lithium 101 - Deutsche Bank. PLS is mentioned regularly.  I downloaded it last week.

While not specific to PLS's impact once online, here's a screen grab of DB's overall estimated supply vs demand timeline.  As can be seen, there is a supply shortage here and now in 2016, but it's perhaps not as massive a disparity as some seem to be inferring.  





My question is - if such a seemingly small difference between supply and demand in 2016 can crate record prices, what is going to happen to LCE prices once the brine projects/ramp-ups start coming online and create a much more obvious gap between supply and demand - 2021 and beyond as seen in the pic above?

FWIW - I don't hold PLS at this point, but I do hold GXY, thus a vested interest in lithium staying a hot commodity.
