PTR will takes years, if at all, to make a $. There'll be all sorts of obstacles to overcome, unfortunately most will be unexpected. Having said that if it proves itself, well you can name your price from here on end. How you deal with this stock is like everything in the market, up to you. Your stomach for risk, and what are your personal strategies, etc.
Pesonally, I've been in since IPO, and other than the few on SPP, thats all I have. Having said that I've bought others to trade at various times.
But back to your comparisons with one of other stocks you mention. (unfortunately I only know relatively few stocks but try to know them well).
Well, IMO, there is NO comparison with GDN, so I don't believe you should try to compare. Last year when GDN was trading where it is now and the ops were about 15c, and they had just started drilling in the US, a friend asked me to have a look at GDN. My conclusion was that they will try to do everything to stall production tests till after expiry of ops. A gamblers share, get in and get out. So much so I've had it on "Ignore Stock" ever since. With only 4% porosity you need a mighty abundance of luck to succeed. I don't know the others.
In summary, each person, has a different outlook, and each stock should be looked at differently. It's up to you to know yourself and your stocks
