Thanks psi81
also...Sasol does a heck of a lot more than just produce fuel through GTL, but their market cap is 31billion and their stock is at 52usd(ADR)I think.
If Linc can get to 100,000 barrels a day. Assuming $100 per barrel as deisel trades $10-$15 over oil.
That's 3.65 Billion in revenue a year which I would think would have a Net Income after tax of roughly 1 Billion.
If you value Linc at 2x revenue that 7.3 Billion market cap which on 450 million shares outstanding equates to a share price of $16.20
If you value Linc at 10 times net earnings, which is not out of the question, the stock would be roughly $22.00
Sasol started out small....tiny and has grown into a large multi faceted company.
The potential is huge and Linc above $10.00 within 3 yrs is a definite possibilty if UCG and GTL become well known and understood and accepted as a viable alternative oil production method.
PB is not in this for a hair cut and he knows what he is sitting on and his plans are not to play small. PB does not feel he owes anything to the Mobils or BP's of the world. His plan for Linc is a long term multi faceted enregy company. Rome and Sasol were not built in one day. Nor will Linc.
