most of these are bots orders from sophisticated investors or intos.
They don't pay brokage fee like us retail investors that's why they could do trades like these to attempt to push up/pull down/tie the trades to their desired level.
These are common things in the market to my knowledge. Yeah, it smells a bit of manipulation, but it's there for its purpose and I have heard that it's legal but not ethical.
Probably you may see something hidden behind the curtin when you see these orders.
