they force an about face at about the same time someone with no credentials in the same role would have done the same.

Healthcare is rife with people who follow process and rules. That's great until someone actually needs to think outside the box. There are few lateral thinkers left in health care. And those who are struggle to apply their talents in an industry wrapped up in red tape.
