To my knowledge, no formal list of words exists, but the issue is broadly covered in the Posting Guidelines.
Having said that, does HC really need go to the extent of telling people what words they can or cannot use on public forum? Surely commonsense and decency should prevail.
Insofar as "some posters get away with swearing profanities while others are not", this is no doubt this is due to the moderators not being aware of the subject post.
