If melua has saved many people's capital, than it contradicts the claims that posts here have no effect on the SP.

These "many people" did not buy, who otherwise would have bought. That's the argument. Many people buying a stock moves the price up. Many holders selling will move the price down.

Oh... then there are the shorters...
