I was re-reading 'Ian Frazer The man who saved a million lives' by Madonna King and thought I would share with you this excerpt which will give you some insight into just how significant both Professor Frazer and Dr Zhou Jian believe their codon modification discovery to be…….

"Coridon, an unlisted company, was set up by Ian, Janet Caffin who met Ian through UniQuest, Jian's widow, Xiao Yi, and Jimmy Botella, a Bisbane academic, to own and milk a second discovery - codon modification - developed by Ian and Jian many years earlier. It is just as complex as it sounds, and both Jian and Ian believed this discovery would be at least as, if not more, significant as the VLP."

What is the VLP?

Eventually, one day, and after many false starts, Jian finally cracked it. A developed photograph sat in front of him. He could see a virus-like particle - a VLP, or harmless virus casing that could be used to prompt the immune system to churn out antibodies……..

About the technology……


Coridon has 6 granted US patents protecting its codon optimisation DNA technology, which enhances protein expression in the cell or tissue targeted and results in an improved humoral response.
