Demerger is scheduled for 1st quarter of 2008-2009, which is July-August-September.
28 days notice required before extranordinary meeting to enact demerger. Record date for owning shares also would be discussed at meeitng, so likely you would still have time if you bought on the notice date of the meeting (assuming they do not pre-date the record date by more than 4 weeks).
So yes, it is possible that the anoucement a record date are this comming monday, here is hoping. But the demerger was supposed to be back in February at one stage - so dont hold your ADY breath...
