You clearly did not understand the announcement. I can see @Batmansdaughter also tried to bamboozle people with the reference to influenza too where he/she said:

"I'll expand at a later date, but for now we can all be very excited that this reference that has been made unexpectantly within the FDA response, or at least in what MM has said about their response". (see here)

What MM said was:

"The recommendations for a small, placebo-controlled, proof-of-concept, dose-finding study, with agreed end points, in line with studies for other respiratory diseases,including influenza, are very welcome".

MM is just saying the FDA recommendations are what you would expect for a study relating to a respiratory disease, such as if someone was doing a study involving influenza. She was NOT announcing anything relating to Biotron conducting influenza studies.

i think you are right but some here don’t want to reassess their position.

I think MM was saying the next stage would be done the same way that influenzer studies are carried out. It is slightly misleading when reading it quickly.
