I think you can detect the professional downrampers from the ones who are pretty harmless, by reading between the lines.

One day they might make it mandatory that all contributors to stock forums must be linked to a trading account, where they may be audited at any time by a government body like ASIC.

I would be quite happy for this to be the case.
