intergenerational wealth developed through property ownership is not a template for investment for joe public
the stats for investment property in Australia clearly shows that the number of properties held will mostly require liquidation in order for the owners to use that money in retirement
i know a few people who have rich parents with lots of property and generally experiencing the easy life has turned all of them into underachievers
whatever gets passed down will also be liquidated so they can retire in their 50s and squander the balance on holidays and toys
