    O.K guys

Have been reading the property thread for a while but have kept quiet.

Too much argy bargy for me.

However let me tell you a quick story...

Of the first post I was paragraph:

1, 2, 3, 4 (aren't we all trying to "get ahead in life"), (have NEVER attended a property seminar (hence the "unsophisticated tag in paragraph 3")), 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16 and paragraph 17 is extremely offensive to me....

I sold my houses and land in 2005 (live in W.A) and made a motza, built a house and paid it off with the money I made from INVESTING In PROPERTY...

I bought quite a few shares with some money i had (and loaned) and LOST A MOTZA during the GFC.

Property was good to me whilst shares weren't...

    So who is the dummy????

Obviously me... but not because of property.

Obviously short term property is cyclical. However long term is a different story... (not going to get into a debate re: renting, property ownership etc. have read it on here and there are valid points for and against.)

Will get back into property one day. Just like shares, you can't always pick the bottom...

    Cheers.

One powerball (and obviously delusional that I am gojng to win lotto one day..)
