For those of us waiting for the appeal to go ahead for the proposed mining at Faboliden, I'd like to emphasize that the appeal lodged with the environment court in April 2023 is for the right to appeal. It is not the actual appeal. In other words, we are awaiting for permission to appeal the judgement from the court that rejected the plan in the first place. I have to admit that I skipped over that when I first read the announcement. So it's been 13 months and we don't know yet if we have the go ahead to start the appeal process. Sorry to bring news that's less than uplifting but these are the facts. The new appeal will have to have some very strong mitigating factors!
