Edit- trucks not truck
Had 5 trucks with approx 150t have to go to another site with $16 price difference because one buyer wasn't participating at that site. They had all been to the site earlier in the morning and not one was told that they would be closing to load train. Add another $10 per t added freight to redirect trucks. 3 Harvesters at around $300 per hour had to wait 3 hours waiting for trucks as everything was full. Next load trucks travel 100km further up the line to capture buyer paying premium. 6 hour turn around instead of the usual 3. Another 3 hours stopped waiting. Add in 6 staff doing nothing for 5-6 hours and lost production of around 400t for the 5-6 hours which will be worth $50 per t less if it gets another rain. Cost me well over 10k as well as many others. All so they can load a train with last years grain Yes thats right, they were moving last years grain.
Great management gnc. No wonder other bulk handling companies are gaining market share and your lossing it.
