Are they buying CGI at a premium? Regardless, it is great to expand beyond. I always thought AEF could push their agenda to other countries that are basket cases in terms of environmental degradations, eg china. But alas no great strategic visionary comments about AEF for 5 years time. I know of another company that expanded quickly by script for script offers (automotive holdings). What ended up happening was ballooning market cap but shares stagnated. Yes, buying for expansionary goals is only good if share value increases. In that same period of time AP Eagers (same business), grew market cap by selectively and cheaply buying takeover targets, growing organically as well and market cap grew just as fast mainly due to sp increases. Hope PCG aren’t one of these automotive holdings examples.
