TNE create, sell and support Business Management software whilst IRI's product suite is of a utility nature. Business management software typically requires around $4 of consulting revenue for every $1 of initial licence fee - IRI would be less than $1 for $1. IRI has recently started growing its consulting arm, with pleasing results, but it will never be as significant as that of TNE.
On the other hand, IRI has annual maintenance contracts with over 90% of customers - a rate likely to continue. This is typically much lower with business management software.
