Was thinking today the progressive Democrats seem to be more willing to support and promote a new technology. Think of the internet boom under Clinton. Lets hope the clean energy boom is set off under Obama. It sure ties in with their foreign policy objectives too...if you aren't willing to intervene in oil producing countries to guarantee supply, you will have to sure up supply at home. There is also hope of progress on some international climate change agreements...which inevitably will revolve around supporting clean technologies. All those struggling renewable energy companies may finally have their day in the sun if the regulatory environment worldwide takes a turn for the better.
