the 25m pound free carry on Cuadrilla is good for us and will help the share price and hopefully get us to a point where gas flow can be proved up. if this all goes well then that is great, but what happens if it doesn't???
the ajl bod has been playing double or nothing with our money for years and backed us all into a corner where only the funder of last resort would give debt.....at 17%. if there is a significant run up in SP and high interest in uk shale once again then the credit card debt should be extinguished as this will then protect us on the downside. uk shale has been a long ride to date, and as with any exploration play there is no certainty so my preference is a de-risking of the balance sheet sooner rather than later
