On the one hand they chip away at gains before several
days momentum can be established, but they can also accelerate the SP once more macro factors kick-in and they're less sheepish on going long.
When the wholesale boys'n'girls come back to play ST traders will probably have both a lesser trimming effect as well as a longer hold (e.g., May "08 - where NDO had realized far-less of its potential than currently, but now sits at approx. 25% of that SP).
