Power companies are too slow they are scared that if everyone gets power banks at home they won't have anyone to sell to.
So they make it difficult for electrican to be certified, to conect to the grid. I know some certifiers charge 1500$ just to check the installation is correct.
Instead of innovating they just slowing the inevitable.
This will change in the near future.
