I place shorts through my portfolio manager in Sydney, so not sure about platforms. He looks after all my dividends and tax etc through a company I have set up for trading and two businesses. All the money just goes in and out of that and all I do is tell him the sell and buy and he sorts it, same with all IPO etc. Family friend so avoid most of the unsightly brokerage fees that would just make a lot of trades not worth it within the penny stock market.
