question! will the upcoming election outcome (regardless of who wins) rattle the asx and send the market the other way?
The only negative in sentiment for the stock market directly, and hence for APT, is for a Labor win and the effect that has on franking credits refunds and capital gain taxation. Without getting political, that will affect a certain type of investor.
Turning to our customers for APT which are typically lower income, both parties are offering tax cuts, hence more money to spend. So either way, it could mean a slight improvement in APT revenue.
