I went from having a several stocks in AUS and US to 100% APT. Along the journey, and everyday since I’m learning what it means to have high conviction.
Having a 1 stock portfolio carries risk, but I’m doing my best to mitigate it by paying very close attention to the stock. As I work and have other projects to occupy my time I don’t have the time to analyze and cover other stocks in the same way.
One thing I’ll say is you may become more comfortable over time with your position. For me the first time
I saw a daily fall of $10,000 it was concerning, but I became more comfortable with the larger swings. I had one the other week which was a fall of $96,000.
I saw another investor sell the other day for 20% profit, which is a good result. But you’ll never get a 2000% profit if you sell to early.
In my thoughts, APT will change my life and the lives of my family - hopefully for the better.
FYI I have made 12 purchases of APT shares, first at $1.30, hence I’ve ridden some large ups and downs since the first purchase.
Best of luck, whatever decision you make
