Directors are pleased to release the results for Credit Corp Group
Limited for the half year ended 31 December 2002. Net profit after tax
of $1.548 million was achieved on revenues of $7.911 million,
increases of 197% and 119% respectively over the prior half-year
    period.

The strong result reflects Credit Corp's successful broadening of its
revenue base to include specialist commission-based debt recovery,
Government recovery services, process serving and legal support, as
well as its traditional mainstay, debt ledger acquisition.

Substantial earnings growth in the half was underpinned by a full
contribution from the A&K Mercantile Services business, which Credit
Corp acquired in March 2002, also contribution to a strong increase
    in operating cash flows.

Directors declared an interim dividend of 2.25 cents per share, and
reported solid progress in the first half toward meeting the
company's forecast net profit after tax for the full year of $3.15
    million.

Managing Director of Credit Corp, Mr Simon Calleia, said the first
half result was very pleasing, and emphasised Credit Corp's ability
to deliver consistent earnings growth through a combination of nimble
and focused management, close attention to customer needs, and
considered expansion that leveraged the company's core strengths.

"Considerable management attention in this period was directed to
successful completing the integration of the A&K businesses and it's
satisfying to see those businesses making a healthy contribution to
the group result," Mr Calleia said.
